Me - One part of one's self is the presence arising from the needs of living. From one's activity cycle, relationships responsibilities, emotional concerns. From conformance to prescribed choices that are the benchmarks of identity that society ascribes to you. With recognisable behavior patterns and lifestyle that sustain that sense of self, your visible presence.Forgo all of that and one achieves an absence of all the derived identities of ones self.
Over the last three years I have managed to do that and it has given me a certain peace. My peace comes from understanding and accepting what I am and why I am that way. from finding myself free of needs and desires beyond survival basics. Just existing.
The other part of ones self, that believers think exists, is an intangible Presence, the experience of which is achievable but not easily accessible to lay person realisation.
The difference in the realisation of what-one-IS in the two scenarios is the perceived reality. In mine, its just this is , just that - me. In yours, its your self as another entity.
At the end of the day its all about peace on earth. And of course, ones perceptions of what ones peace is.
Believe that its just this is a template that guides whateva you believe!

So don't let those 5 days in April make you loose the plot.

Friends and family

Protecting a friend is a value to die for.
Covering up for his poor choice in quotes, also par for the course.
But a presumptive defence to check for seeming offence, before finding out first the effect, if any, on the friend, flowing from his actions! Why jump to his defence in a seemingly nervous reflex before you're fully aware. Now thatsa bit much, even for friendship.

If you choose for us to share some space with your friends, then I'd advise you to be more objective and shed your presumptive frame. It projects YOUR apprehensions as OUR most likely responses.
A constant of the growing up process - We all wanna be and curse the fact that ones folks just dont see. Fact is, one's so busy being, independent, that actions from history are presumed as seeing.

Me - Thats a bolt from the blue. Am not sure about the contextual reference. If it's for Easter, then know that jumping to conclusions is oft a trait of ignorance and can get you crucified.

Me - Never start something that you don't intend to or... can't finish. A lack of response implies disinterest or, just a lack of communicative ability. So why open yourself to be judged!

Me - Natural selection is about survival of the fittest. It takes informed choice to overcome clear and present danger.
Peace - a stillness of being, can be felt in a graveyard too.

Me - Can't fault that as a belief.But even self education's a dependent variable. Experiential learning needs a purpose. The question How and why we do what we do guides ones choice of learning curve but, is also the trigger question for many a rebel without a cause.
Not everybody has the capacity to educate themselves on dreams that the world accepts as sci-fi and not, gibberish.
