Perception usually mirrors ones own world view of things, oft biased by the baggage from ones life.
It's difficult then to comprehend a baseless, no strings relationship between friends.
True. Friendship is a chemical bonding....unconditioned by the facts of life. Indeed many do not understand what causes this bond.
I get the feeling that you are in that group too....
