There was an era in our history
that epitomised life with liberty.
Mood altering was the rage
Camraderie the gauge.
Until an ill fated encounter with domesticity.
What we presumed was release and stability
became a confine for posterity.
The twilight of the golgen years,
soon accelerated our fears
and made us cynics extraordinary.
