Me - Thought is ultimately just a means of communicating sensory input. Language provides it form. As dredged up collages of experiences recorded, accumulated, indexed and filed away as learning, beliefs, feeling, want and desire and for the large part, just information. Depending on the the trigger that caused record of the situation.
Thought is just a new collage assembled from the files of past experience. If a new recording takes place in the present, it'll provide scope for language to a new thought for some experience in the future maybe.
